Accommodation tax
[Important] Regarding payment of accommodation tax on-site
According to Kyoto City ordinances, a "lodging tax" is payable in addition to the accommodation fee.
The accommodation tax is not included in the booking price.
Please pay in cash upon check-in.

For purchases between 6,000 yen and 20,000 yen: 400 yen
For purchases between 20,000 yen and 50,000 yen: 1,000 yen
Specific examples of calculations
In the case of "Total accommodation cost of 60,000 yen, for a total of 8 people for 2 nights"
Price per person per night: 60,000 yen ÷ 8 people ÷ 2 nights = 3,750 yen
Since 3,750 yen falls under the "less than 6,000 yen" category, the accommodation tax is 200 yen per person per night.
Accommodation tax: 200 yen x 8 people x 2 nights = 3,200 yen
